Genetti Hotel, SureStay Collection by Best Western

I stayed for one night to break up a long drive from Ontario to Maryland. It's a really neat hotel with a lot of character. The rate for the night was very affordable. The room itself had an old-fashioned vibe. One note is that the sink and mirror were in the main room outside of the restroom with the toilet and shower. Otherwise, the expected amenities were there. Parking is convenient - check in first, then use your room key to enter the lot. Breakfast was good with a nice buffet-style selection. The staff I interacted with were welcoming and helpful. I didn't get much of a chance to explore Williamsport, but it seems like a nice place to visit with restaurants, bars, and live music. There was a lot of noise around 2am. My impression from only one night is that this hotel - and the area in general - is suited to gathering with friends, family, and partners. Absolute quiet may not be realistic to expect.

This was the first time we stayed at the Genetti Hotel and what a welcome surprise! A short 5 minute drive off Route 15 in Williamsport, it was an ideal stopover for us as we headed from the DC area to upstate New York. Plenty of free parking too. The hotel has a rich history, proudly displayed on its walls, and we stayed in the Queen Suite (it was Mother's Day) which was large and roomy and had everything we needed. The heartfelt note from the owner to all his guests was a wonderful touch. Best of all was the breakfast! Hot entrees, including real eggs, home fries, cheesy grits, etc were accompanied by bagels, cereal, fruit, and many other choices. I would look forward to staying there again.

The whole building gave you a feel of comfort history and a great atmosphere. Christmas theme in the lobby and such was excellent. The rooms were very clean. They didn't have any smell. They were just clean. Clean has no smell. We enjoyed our stay. We will be coming back in the area. We are expecting to stay at Genetti again Really enjoyed the breakfast. It was a restaurant meal not a warmed up. Bagged food. Liked that it had a restaurant in the building and a lounge can't say enough for how much we enjoyed our stay

I loved everything about this hotel. It is beautiful, the staff is very welcoming and everything is clean. The breakfast was also excellent. I had the best chocolat chip pankakes I have ever tasted. Will be staying there again when I stop in Williamsport next time. The hotel is also very well located and you can find everything you need in walking distance. There is also a restaurant in the hotel.
